My Experience at the Best Hotel in Gurgaon

I was born with wings and travel is undoubtedly my first love. Whether I need a stress buster or want to celebrate certain special occasions with my little son and coveted cozy moments with husband, I always love flying down to my favourite luxury resorts and hotels for some awesome family time, fun and rejuvenation. The idea of an impromptu vacation always excites me the most, more so if I can club in a surprise with it for my loved ones and weave some precious memories.

This dates back to the time when my husband was abroad for an official assignment and it was our longest separation by far (more than a month!). He was returning on a Friday and had a meeting in Delhi due to which he was to reach Pune a couple of days late, which was heart-breaking for me and my little munchkin who had been longing to hug his dad. I thought of scripting a little surprise for the two loves of my life and immediately started looking for flights and hotels in NCR. My eyes fell upon Perch Serviced Apartments, Gurgaon which was offering awesome suites at a great price during that period. With my instincts strongly indicating that it was going to be one amazing vacation at this exotic property, I immediate booked it.

The very next morning, we flew to Delhi and surprised my husband and son at the airport from where we drove to The Perch, which looked like a seamless blend of grandeur and comfort woven together.

At the entrance, we were greeted with extreme warmth and prompt service, and were very pleased by the decor at the reception. It was now my turn to get surprised – the hotel offered to upgrade our room to the King Suite for a nominal extra charge and threw in some unlimited offers at the lounge for a special evening for the two of us. I guess they knew how to strike the right chords with their guests and set the mood.

We were finally in our suite, which was truly classy, elegant and aesthetically pleasing. The personalised experience which the suite offered stole my heart at the first glance. I was still admiring it when a warm hug by hubby overwhelmed me with emotions. Our little buddy wanted to have some fun so we jumped on the bed and he enjoyed a couple of pillow fights with daddy dearest, post which we decided to go for a workout. The gym was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

The evening was a magical experience at the hotel’s state-of-the-art lounge. We spent private quality time with awesome food and drinks, and candid heart-to-heart talks after weeks of missing each other. The experience brought us so much closer. Moments like these soothe the heart with unparalleled warmth and love.

For dinner we tried the in-room dining facility and it was difficult to zero upon the final order from the huge a-la carte menu. The food was lip-smacking and the chefs tried their best to make everything to our taste. When we found a dish a little too spicy, they were happy to make a less spicy version for us. The courtesy they extended was impressive. Love was truly in the air for us and probably for everyone around too.

Even though we stayed there only for a couple of days, we still treasure each moment of one of the most ideal mini vacations of our life at Perch Serviced Apartments, the best hotel in Gurgaon. I especially remember trotting in and out of its gym and fine dining. We look forward to many more such stays there!
